First of all I am a so jealous. I have to go to a comic con ONCE in my life. Sure San Diego is the big one but I think I would rather go to the New York one so I can kill several birds with that one stone. Kirkman is the best comic creator in any genre to come along in a long time. The Goon, Invincible and Walking Dead are all genius. He never writes a line of dialoque that does't ring true. I am having ennui just waiting for the Walking Dead tv show to start. I just hope they don't try to re-invent the wheel. That series of comics is all they need to look to. Currently I am saving up the issues until I have a good 20 or so to read in one stretch. That is the way I got into the series and I couldn't stand to wait a month to see what happens from the last issue. His cliffhangers are that good.
Yeah, the hypersleep chambers were pretty badass... after you laid down, there was a screen right over your face, and they played a 4 min highlight reel from the quadriology, especially shit with the facehuggers and monsters themselves. Awesome!!!
