LEGO Iconic Vol #4 by Jeff Bond

I am such a huge Lego nerd that words can not explain. Soooo I've decided to use my favorite blog site CCD.com as an outlet to get some of this stuff that I see every day, built out of bricks, out of my skull and onto the blogosphere where it can't hurt my cerebral cortex. Each month I'll be posting the best of the best hoping to inspire the Lego maniac in each of you...young and old.  Enjoy!

Mookage 161 prepared these neat little versions of the most recent
Dr. Who and a couple of Daleks.

Aaron Dayman not only hooked up an awesome Star Wars-inspired custom entitled 'W-Wing'...

...but also this mech-tastic 'Dragonfly Gunship'

and it's companion piece 'Jack Rabbit Heavy Assault Mecha'

A lot of detail went into Monster Brick's 'Converse'

...but not much detail into Andy Burt authentically 8 Bit 'Legend of Zelda' Link. We love it anyway!

Video game characters have been getting a lot of Lego Make-overs lately. I found this Bowser from 'Super Mario Bros.' over at Video Game Schwag

One of those 8 Bit Superstars might take grand delight in shacking up in one of the many Castles posted by Richard Shipman from his trip to the Lego Land in Windsor. Note to self: Book UK trip....photos do not do these pieces justice.

Found this remote control DeLorean from the 'Back to the Future' films over at GIZMODO
and trace it back to designer Tyler Clites. You can watch it attempt time travel in the clip below.

The magnificent Lego MechaGodzilla as been stomping through website after website I noticed it first over at AltJapan than picked up a few shots of it over at Bill Ward's Brickpile. I'm having trouble tacking down it's creator in time to stop it.

While over at Bill Ward's Brickpile, I also spotted these magnificent mini video game consoles! LIKE?

Just in time for the next Muppet Movie buzz featuring Kermit THE Frog, Dave Kaleta has been dissecting frogs! Lego Frogs....in great detail!

LegoFenris has been posting so many great Lego Star Wars Mini fig shots that there's hardly enough space on this weeks post to include them all. So hop over to his Flickr postings and enjoy his witty work!

Vader's 'Personal Assistant' has the pleasure of cleaning his boss' armor
as Vader looks on in the buff.

'Darth Shave' is a brilliant take on
Crocodile Dundee's reeeeally close man-skaping venture

'Times Change' and so does Boba Fett
as he selects his next helmet and jet pack

'RC Death Star' imagines what a tiny scale fully functional Death Star
might be capable in the wrong hands

I also took to LegoFenris battle scenes. First with a 300 inspired cluster of Spartans,

...And also with these Black & White military battle scenes

You may recall Morgan190's work from CCD's Lego Iconic 'Spooky Halloween Edition' posted during 'All Horror Week'. Here's a fun one I thought you might enjoy from the same creator. The work speaks for itself.

I caught this bloodsucker buzzing around over at the Brothers Brick. SWAT! Got it!

Our buddy, an mainstay here at 'Lego Iconic' Sir Nadroj as got this wonderful Japanese Mech inspired piece posted over at his Flickr site this week. I really dig the use of fur on the giant Asian beast...and the contradictory usage of pink flowers are against the white steel of it's adversary.

The Portuguese Ministry of Health OK'd this public service ad urging you not to treat your health issues as if it were child's play. I dunno, kinda makes me wanna check-in to the nearest Lego Hospital.

Rogue Bantha 1138 posted his creation....this zoo-rific Hippo tank over at Flickr

....And also this brilliant attack sequence from Star Wars using mini ships displayed on an incredible planet Hoth backdrop.

I thought this was this month's best so I saved it for last! Orion Pax has got a TRANSFORMABLE Optimus Prime posted over on his page. Not much else to say but, I want one!!

'Til next time Lego Enthusiasts.
