Minimalist art is a talent that not many people can pull off completely. Conveying the full meaning of a poster with just basic images and hardly no words is a challenge, yet when it is done successfully it comes off as beautiful to look at.
Matt Needle is one of these artists that knows how to balance the obscure with the understandable. Case in point: His 50th anniversary poster in celebration of James Bond. Needle takes iconic images of all the Bond films and includes them in a collage that is reinforced with the names of the six actors who have portrayed Bond and the titles of the films.
