Richard Pryor was one of the greatest comics of his generation. Hell, he is one of the greatest comedians of all time. But his filthy mouth and uncompromising attitude towards his material often cost him career opportunities that might have made him even more famous then he ever became. Take the Richard Pryor Show as am example. He signed a contract back in 1977 to make a 10 episode 1st season, but the show only filmed four episodes due to conflicts between Pryor and the network over content. One of the skits that made it through is a completly hysterical ad-libbed clip that features Pryor as the bartender at the Star Wars Bar. The bar is frequented by the usual suspects of the Star Wars movies, and there is a good reason for that. They actual got to use certain costumes and masks from the movie itself. God I love me some Pryor. Enjoy the clip...
