Having just seen the lovely Gemma Arterton in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, I can honestly say two things: 1) She very well may be one of the finest pieces of ass in the whole movie industry and 2) I will watch this sexy women in ANYTHING she does, no matter how shitty it looks. Niow if the movie happens to look good... well, then I am definitely in to see it! Take her next film, Byzantium. It is a vampire movie from the king of vampire movies Neil Jordan (he started all this vampire movie shit with Interview with a Vampire back in 1994). It also co stars Saorise Ronan, who I absolutely loved in Hannah. It tells the story of Arterton & Ronan, two 'sisters', who have lived for over 200 years together putting on elaborate ruses to conceal their true blood lusting nature. Now that they are comfortable in a new cover story, things start to get shaky as their checkered past starts catching up with them. I really like Jordan's film work, with In Dreams and The Brave One being two great films from the director. He doesn't do a lot of movies, so when he decides to get on board I am in. I also like the history spanning story line that seems to be in play here. One minute Arterton is in modern garb and fuck ,e pumps, the next she is in traditional french garb. I like it.
