I have been a fan of the Brett Easton Ellis novel "American Psycho" since my years at Manhattan College, and I remember how long it took for them to get the adaption down pat and actually attempt a movie adaption. The final result is pretty polarizing: While most people like the Christian Bale film (I am one of those people) there is a group of fans who feel that the movie did not do the book justice. So what is next for the modern day literary classic? How about a musical on Broadway?

Yup... you read that right. It seems that the Ellis novel will be coming to the Great White Way this March, following up a successful run in London. The play will feature the tunes of Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakenings) and will star Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) in the title role of Patrick Bateman. I for one am very intrigued....
